There are three answers to your questions.
A) If you opt for self-defense and fitness with a layer of discipline, you try to Tang Soo Do and Karate. It was the hardest for me and concentrate on staying alive and not the sport of it.
B) If you want, fitness and flashy kicks things they see in movies, Tae Kwon Do is good. Technically it is a sport, but that would affect the performance (although honestly, that the train before anyway when you are at the same pace as the others in the film.)
C) If you are, which combines all aspects, is Judo, Hapkido, or Kyūkai Th) (my martial arts classes. They are more general.
D) If you want to mainly self-defense and fitness and believes are strong enough, Krav Maga is the best, but be careful. It is stronger than any martial art I've seen, and the aesthetic quality of the other.

I recommend that you ask them to visit a class in the dojo / dojang. Maestro allows you, if they are good, and you can see what works for you. For an overview ofDefense, click, especially in situations of training, especially for women, click the link below. This is truly a unique experience.

I do not believe everything I suggested!

As a pre-teen:
You do not have the scope,
You do not have the muscle power
They have brought even the dough in a punch or kick
They have no self-control and
You do not have the opportunity to really learn a martial art.

EDIT:
His response to my post encouraged me in my testimony:
They have no self-control. QED (which has proven to be)

It is the main reason the martial arts stunts or action, I would say take caporia or wushu. This martial arts tend to lean more TWORD the acrobatic martial arts. The truth is that we all work without raising doubts as to some extent by an increase in strikes and technical corordination. If you understand the fundamentals of stunt director Wil fill the rest of the

To do a handful of dojos, let alone give a contract or a credit card prior to the visit of at least three, and this is his second visit, that you love. Tell the teacher what you are looking for.

I recommend Krav Maga, Judo or Jiu Jitsu.

Basic self-defense class teaching the basic movements that are not necessarily in one of the categories of martial arts. I suggest you visit the classrooms when this option if you are able to offer so it is a good choice for you.

You must take the Chinese art Wu Sho or similar means, is often used in films, keeps you agile and has great style gymnastics instead of cute and would probably be to Joy
